Having grown up in a musical family, as one of six children on a farm in Suffolk, Polly was destined to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter from an early age. At the age of 15 Polly had already co-written her first song which was selected from thousands to be recorded at Air Studios in London. She has been a member of several bands in her young life whilst establishing her musical style.
With an incredible vocal versatility, Polly has been invited to record on various projects including a track Fear No Evil, with hip hop group 'Vinyl Dialect' on Wall of Sound's Bad Magic label. She also co-wrote and performed a song on a British Soul compilation album, 'Diggz Presents Random Soul on Random Records. Most recently Polly featured alongside such jazz luminaries as Jacqui Dankworth, Ian Shaw and Gwyneth Herbert on an album entitled The Music of BB Cooper.
Polly has spent many occasions over the last 4 years working, recording and performing with renowned artist and producer, Ian Shaw. Pollys debut album, reflects her main influences of jazz soul and hip-hop. Polly has co-written this album with British producer and artist, Ola Onabule.
