Phil Robson is a guitarist/composer based in London, UK. He is internationally regarded as a highly versatile and creative player who appears in all kinds of diverse settings.

As a band leader, he manages his Trio (with drum legend Billy Hart & James Genus, bass), Octet (with Jason Yarde, Julian Siegel, Gene Calderazzo, Steve Watts, Thebe Lipere, Karren Street & Christine Tobin) and co-leads 'Partisans' with Julian Siegel featuring Gene Calderazzo - drums & Thad Kelly - bass.

He is also a member of the Liam Noble Quartet, the Alec Dankworth Trio, The Gerard Precencer Quartet and The BBC big band.

He has worked with numerous musicians and bands in th UK and Internationally and has won awards including BT Best soloist of the year award 1997 and 1998 Perrier Young Jazz award for the best instrumentalist of the year. In addition, Phil has recorded numerous albums with several British jazz artists.
