Elisa began singing at a young age in school choirs and at church. When she came to London, her love for music grew and at 14, she began listening to Jazz continually studying the music of her favourite vocalists; Sarah Vaughan, Ella Fitzgerald and Billie Holiday.

Music had primarily always been for enjoyment and though she took up the violin as a child, her first love remained singing. During college, she sang in a gospel group, joined the college choir, sang backing vocals and spent hours each day at college listening to musicians.

She began working with the Jo Caleb trio in 2000, booking them into various venues and clubs primarily as a manager and agent. Her exposure to the Jazz Scene, however, was about to take a new turn in summer 2005 when prompted to perform jazz professionally rather than merely enjoying it as a listener.

Since Elisa's love for singing turned professional in the summer of 2005, she has performed in Paris, Moscow, numerous venues across London and has performed with such artists as Tony Kofi, Seb Rochford, Jo Caleb, Gary Husband, Mike Outram, Troy Miller, Mike Mondesir, Jim Mullen, Mike Gorman and Mornington Lockett.
