The Andy Davies Quartet was formed in January 2004 with an inaugural tour of South Wales, playing at Swansea Jazzland, the Cardiff Jazz Cafe, Jazz at The Riverbank and Jazz in The Round. In August 2004 they performed in Italy at the Bocabarranca Jazz club, Nord Est Cafe, Varese Open Jazz Fest and The Drome, also releasing a promotional DVD.

In October of the same year the band visited Japan where they performed at the Tokyo Opera House, the British Council and held workshops at the prestigious Kunitachi Music Academy of Tokyo. The quartet released their debut CD in March 2005 and obtained a special mention for high standard in JAZZ GRANADA 2005.

In short, Andy Davies has performed with numerous artists including Ian Shaw, Gwyneth Herbert and Jamie Cullum. And has appeared at all the major venues in London. His television appearances include The Parkinson Show, The American Picture Company and Channel 5.

Andy is also a featured soloist on the recently released Iris Festenstien CD, ‘One Good Scandal’' (33 Records).
